Coin Maker Simulator Guide

Coin Maker Simulator updates

Quick answer

October 16 reduced furnace fuel from two logs to one and enabled tongs for bars. Full Focus Mode is a development schedule. Old saves receive 50 additional orders after the event; Steam targets March 2027 for the full game.

The October 16, 2026 demo update changed furnace fuel, bar handling, chopping and movement. The October 8 event wrap-up also changed how many orders a save can take. If you are returning after the September demo, start with those two changes rather than looking for a new game mode.

Furnace, tongs and chopping: what changed

October 16 changeHow to adjust your routine
Furnace fuel requirement reduced from two logs to oneStock wood for the revised requirement; do not use the old two-log routine
Tongs can hold metal barsUse the same tool for bar handling and hot furnace output
Small, medium and large bar production times slightly reducedCheck the furnace timer before starting another long job
Faster axe wind-up and shorter hold before chopping startsHold for the swing rather than repeatedly clicking
Timber reaches the ready position soonerWait for the ready position, then make the next swing
Higher base movement speedShorter station-to-station trips, without needing a new equipment purchase
Dirt and webs appear less oftenCleaning still belongs in the order routine; it has not been removed

The fuel note changes the furnace requirement. It does not establish a separate fuel rate for every bar size or batch. For the complete sequence from wood to delivery, use coin crafting.

Playtime starts with this patch

The stats screen and main-menu save slots now show active playtime. Pausing does not increase it, and time played before the patch is not added retrospectively. An old save showing little recorded time has not necessarily lost its crafting or order progress.

Endless Mode and the 50-order allowance

The community event ended on October 8 with 23,195,289 coins made. The shared counter continues, but Endless Mode closed.

  • New saves: the demo allowance rose from roughly 15 to 50 orders.
  • Existing saves: the announcement grants 50 additional orders. Its example is a save with 107 orders already completed that can do another 50; it is not a reset to 50 lifetime orders.
  • Return plans: the developer intends to bring Endless back in the future and include it in the full game. The announcement gives no date for an earlier return.

Do not restart a long-running save just because its completed-order count is above 50. Read the event explanation for the old-save distinction.

“Full Focus Mode” is a development schedule

The phrase in the October 16 announcement describes the team's shift toward finishing the full game. It is not a player-selectable mode or an Endless unlock. Regular demo uploads slow down during this period, with hotfixes still possible.

Template re-smelting, multiple-bar smelting, hold-to-pick-up or stamp, mouse confinement and dual-screen fixes, mid-air object fixes and physics optimization were listed as future work. They are not instructions for features added by this patch. The developer also says some demo balance changes may be adjusted again.

The 30 player-designed coin slots

The October 15 announcement described 30 design slots distributed through random giveaways, community contests, a community-voted creative contest and long-time Patreon supporters. Some entry routes are free. The first three slots were being drawn when that post was published; that dated announcement does not say how many remain today.

Designs must fit the game. The stated exclusions include AI-generated art, brand logos, advertisements, cryptocurrency themes and NSFW material. A selected participant can work with the artist from a sketch or description. Check the developer's current event instructions before preparing an entry.

This is a plan for player-designed collectibles, separate from the ten demo collectible routes. An unfamiliar existing coin is not automatically a contest design.

Full-game timing

The Steam store currently targets March 2027, with no exact day or full-game price listed. See release date and demo information for the distinction between the released Windows/Linux demo and the Windows full-game listing.
